Aurora Opal is lab grown and sustainably sourced. It is durable, scratch resistant and is polished to show it's vivid play of color. Every piece has a unique pattern that dances in direct light.
About Aurora Opal
It is a lightweight material but has a (Pencil) Hardness of 4. It is comprised of 25% Silica stone and 75% Resin and is extremely durable and scratch resistant.

About Parallax
- How It Started
After graduating from Pratt Institute's School of Architecture I worked at a Manhattan based architecture firm. After a couple of years, I decided to follow my dreams and enter the jewelry design field as a 3d modeler and founded Derek Lloyd Design Studios.
- Inspired By Architecture
Using my creative and architecture skills I was able to develop my own jewelry line through social media and word of mouth where I quickly amassed a following. Since then, I've discovered new possibilities in the jewelry industry that allow me to reinvent designs and possibilities. With Parallax I am able to present the next big thing to the jewelry world.
